We provide a self-study display on particular subjects/artists for students
here at the Cardiff School of Art & Design. Resources such as books,
journals references and web resources are gathered for display in front of a
self-made poster. The display is recorded using a digital camera and this
image, together with information about the resources displayed, is placed on
our website for future reference and research. Displays are changed
approximately every two months. They have proved to be a useful study aid as
well as a method of promoting areas of stock.
We would like to know if you do something similar & are willing to share
tips & ideas suitable for an academic library on effective methods of
display in a very limited space. We'd also be interested to know what
feedback you receive on such displays.
many thanks
