The Library Association Information Services Group in Scotland has arranged
an informal visit to the library of the National Museum of Scotland in
Chambers Street, Edinburgh.
Date: 28th August, Time:1:30pm.
The tour and visit will include the Library, exhibIT (a multimedia resource
room in the Museum of Scotland, run & staffed by the Library) and there will
be a chance to hear about their new library, which should open in 2004. The
tour will take approximately 2 hours and refreshments will be provided.
Lunch will not be provided, but the museum has a cafe and a soup bar
available for visitors.
There is no charge for the visit, but we ask that you indicate your interest
for catering purposes.
