Continued Professional Development for Academic Liaison Librarians
The Library Association University College & Research Group Berks, Bucks and Oxon Group presents a half-day seminar for anyone interested in professional and staff development issues for academic librarians.
To be held at the University of Reading, Tuesday 17th July, from 13.45 - 16.30.
Academic liaison librarian, subject librarian, faculty librarian, academic outreach librarian...... Whatever the job title, this seminar is aimed at anyone whose job involves liaison with academic staff or departments and who is interested in maintaining their professional development.
The seminar will explore the theme of professionalism and the issue of continuing professional development for academic liaison librarians.
Participants will be able to hear the views of an academic on what academics _really_ want from their liaison librarians and an example of a model for CPD for academic liaison librarians will be provided.

The seminar will be held in Black Horse House at the University of Reading Whiteknights Campus.
