iGSS 2001 (running from 23 June to 20 July with options
for attending for only a single course - Information
Seeking in the Digital Age 23 June-7 July, or Collection
and Knowledge Management 4 July-20 July) provides an
opportunity for information professionals from around the
world to meet and discuss current issues at the same time
that they take part in a work programme which aids their
continuing professional development.
iGSS 2001: Electronic Information, Collection and
Knowledge Management is the 29th year of the Summer
School based at the Department of Information and Library
Studies, University of Wales, Aberystwyth and is the
result of cooperation between four major library and
information studies schools:
Aberystwyth, the School of Information Sciences at the
University of Pittsburgh, the Graduate School of Library
and Information Studies at McGill University in Montreal
and the School of Librarianship, University
of Cape Town.
