Subject: The Queens' Libraries
Dear all,
I was enquiring into the books owned by Queen Mary I of Scotland and
Queen Elizabeth I of England. One can find what items they left in
their will though often they are less than specific. Has any work
been done on either of these women's book, especially as to what they
may have owned merely due to their position and what they owned
because they actually purchased or comissioned, or read them.
Any help would be gratefully recieved.
Regards,
John Walker
