Information Skills Training for Students
This JISC funded JCALT project, run jointly by the Manchester
Metropolitan University and the University of Leeds, is focusing on
the current and potential opportunities for students in higher and
further education to acquire a range of information skills, from basic
competency to the development of analytical and evaluative skills.
At this stage of the project we are carrying out an audit designed to
assess the current provision of information skills training being
offered in higher and further education institutions. If you are not
involved in work in this area please forward this message to the
most appropriate person in your institution.
Completing the audit will only take a maximum of 20 minutes.
Having data to hand related to the porvision of information skills
training will be helpful.
