Just a clarification with respect to surcharges for extended backfiles
for AIP Journals, if anyone should have the same doubts as me:
Douglas LaFrenier from AIP wrote me:
"... the 1985-1991 backfiles for 7 AIP archival journals are included in
the prices of all our combination packages. There is no extra charge.
Apparently, we did not make this clear in our 2002 pricelist, which is
an error on our part."
The surcharge for extended backfiles to single title subscriptions of 7
AIP Archival Journals is the same as last year despite twice the
coverage (12 instead of 6 years; $50 annual maintenance fee per title
except for The Journal of Chemical Physics and Journal of Applied
Physics where it is $75).
