I am seeking guidance on e-journal licences and commercial units
on an academic site.
How do you cope with e-journal licences if a new commercial Unit
is spun off on your site? Do you withdraw their access to
electronic journals until you have been able to arrange
amendments to your licences? Do you assume that your existing
licence covers all those eligible to use the Library? Does it depend
on whether or not they have a separate IP range independent of the
main campus network? Are some publishers more fussy than
others about this?
