Cambridge University Press and the American Political Science Association (APSA) are delighted to announce that as of 2002, American Political Science Review (APSR) and PS: Political Science & Politics (PS) will be published by Cambridge on behalf of the APSA.

American Political Science Review is political science's premier scholarly research journal, providing peer-reviewed articles, review essays, and salient book reviews from subfields throughout the discipline.  Areas covered include political theory, American politics, public policy, public administration, comparative politics, and international relations.  APSR has published continuously since 1906.

PS: Political Science & Politics publishes high-level intelligence about political science, including research, teaching, and professional development for political scientists.  Articles include critical analyses of contemporary political phenomena.  PS, begun in 1968, is the only quarterly professional news journal in the field and is the prime source of information on political scientists’ achievements and professional opportunities.

Both journals will be available online beginning in 2002 via Cambridge Journals Online  (http://journals.cambridge.org) for both individual members of APSA and institutional subscribers to the journals.   

APSA, established in 1903, is the major professional society for individuals engaged in the study of politics and government.  The largest political science society in the world, APSA has over 13,000 members in over 70 countries.  In addition to publishing APSR and PS, the association holds an annual meeting that offers thousands of scholars the opportunity to present research, exchange information and ideas, and create professional ties.
