National Occupational Standards
Colleagues
The isNTO would very much like an NHS organisation - ideally a Trust ? - to
participate in a skills benchmarking project. Also, more generally, to look
at the potential wider uses of Occupational Standards (job descriptions
etcetc)
Please can I ask any of you who might be wiling to explore what this might
mean in terms of commitment etc to contact the isNTO office via John
directly ?
I know that you are all hard pressed with changes but this might dovetail
well with our wish to see librarian type skills valued more .
I hope you are able to help

Subject: Skills Benchmarking; Broadening the Use of National Occupational
Standards - REMINDER
Dear Veronica,
Sorry to be a nag, but can I remind you that you were going to find us
volunteers to participate in:
* The Skills Benchmarking Project (a hospital trust)
* The project to identify broader uses of the N O S
The Consultants for the Skills Benchmarking project are very anxious to get
things moving, so that one is particularly urgent.
Kind regards,
J.
