Subject: Trouble with the Portals
You may be receiving reports of trouble getting in to the portals today. Both the SWICE and Aditus pages are affected. As part of a server upgrade we asked the NHSIA to make some DNS changes for us. These would cause traffic to stop going to our old server, and instead route to the new server, we could then decommission the old server. The NHSIA have done half of this work. Traffic no longer goes to our old server, unfortunately it does not go to our new server either! I have asked the NHSIA to get on and finish the job.
I will keep you informed, although I expect you will know when it is working almost before I do.
