The results of the ILL survey are based on a sample of 1711 requests made over a period of four weeks in April 2001.
The results show that for this period 59.8% of requests made were for medical publications, with nursing in 2nd place with 19.6%.
49.2% of requests made were from articles published within 5 years and 75.4% for articles published within the last 10 years.
75.6% of requested articles were supplied by the LIHNN cooperative.
