[IAQ.museum list message] Update on IAQ in Museums and
Archives
website
The 'Image Gallery' of the "IAQ in Museums and
Archives" has received
two updates:
An example of efflorescence on a 650 B.C. terra cotta
vase from
Cyprus, caused by storage in a wooden display case.
This image and
description was kindly submitted by Lieve Halsberghe,
Belgium.

A short description of the effect of oxidizing vapours
from wood on
photographic image silver. This is illustrated by an
example of a
modern b/w print which faded and became yellow after
six month on a
chicpboard notice bord.
