And another matter........if plagiarism is confirmed and dealt with, to what
extent MUST it be referred to if the student asks for a reference for (a)
another course at another institution and (b)a job, assuming that neither
states that an opinion be given as to honesty.
(I guess I know the legal answer but I'd like to know what happens in
practice)
Also, I have had four cases of plagiarism this year and they ALL involved
group work!
