Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Human Geography
We have two opportunities to join a rapidly expanding and
vibrant subject group within the School of the Environment
where you will be enhancing our strong teaching and
research record and be involved in developing new curricula.
For both posts you should have a good honours degree in
Geography or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate
appropriate teaching skills in the subject area. You should
also have, or be working towards, a Doctorate higher degree,
and have the ability to publish in high quality research outlets
and generate research funding. Job sharers welcome.
GIS/Geocomputation (Ref: SN3002)
The post requires a proven research record or the potential
to develop a research career in any aspect of GIS/
Geocomputation, together with the initiative to develop the
teaching and research agenda in GIS/Geocomputation.
Human Geography (Ref: SN3027)
For this role you will also need a demonstrable research
capability which will significantly enhance the work of the
Human Geography group within the broad research theme
of Society, Space and Development.
