GOOD NEWS!!! GOOD NEWS!!! GOOD NEWS!!!
In recognition of the pressure on many people's time just before Christmas
the local steering commitee has decided to extend the deadline for the
submission of abstracts for GISRUK 2002 to Friday 18th January.
The GISRUK conference series has established itself as one of the leading
academic GIS conferences in Europe and attracts researchers from all the
disciplines involved in Geographic Information Science. Sheffield is
delighted to be hosting the 10th in this annual series of conferences.
Papers are invited on all aspects of GIS, but there will be special sessions
on
Policy and Issues in Spatial Data Access
GIS and Remote Sensing
GIS in Service Provision and Assessment in Urban Areas
Researchers are invited to submit an extended abstract of up to 1500 words
describing their work, its significance and including a short list of
references. Illustrations can also be included. In addition there should be
a 50 word biography of the principal author, which indicates their stage of
career. The abstract must be in Microsoft Word format, and should be emailed
