Re: Sir Harold Jeffreys Archive
Dear Peter,
I fully support this NCUACS initiative. Sir Harold's work on the interior of
the Earth, JB tables, mathematical physics etc is fundamental. He supported
many, too, somewhere amongst my files I have letters from him encouraging my
Q work when I did my PhD!
I aim to attend IASPEI in Hanoi this summer. If it would be helpful to
mention this initiative at IASPEI then please let me know whom I might
contact there and what I might do.
Best wishes,
Paul Burton
