Research in the Spotlight in the School of Civil Engineering, The University of Nottingham
The School of Civil Engineering at the University of Nottingham, which includes the Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy, will throw open its doors to visitors next month to give people the chance to find out more about the range of research opportunities on offer.
The Research Open Day, which will take place on Thursday May 17 from 10am, will offer more information on research activity within the school, research opportunities, potential research collaboration and the potential sponsorship of research.
The day will consist of short keynote presentations covering pavement and geotechnical engineering; structural engineering and construction; environmental fluid mechanics; and engineering surveying and space geodesy.
They will be followed by a poster session featuring current research within the school and a prize will be awarded later in the afternoon for the best poster.
Anyone interested in attending the open day is asked to register with Carole Burton in the School of Civil Engineering on 0115 951 3951 or [log in to unmask]
