Dear Friends,
Pardon any multiple postings.
This is to announce graduate-student opportunities in the Department of
Geological Sciences, University of Maine. We have active programs in crustal
studies, marine geology, hydrogeology, environmental geology and Quaternary
studies.
Interested students should visit our web site and contact appropriate
faculty members.
The University is situated in the beautiful northern New England
Appalachians, and is an ideal setting for students who enjoy outdoor
activities. The Department is housed in a new building and emphasizes
field-based research.
Applications will be evaluated in mid-February, and offers made in early
March.
