Lectureship in Religion and Gender

1 Year Fixed Term
Salary: UK pounds 20,865 p.a. inclusive
Applications are invited for a temporary lectureship in Religion and Gender
within the Department of the Study of Religions. The appointee will teach at
both undergraduate and MA levels, assist in the supervision of research
students and provide academic leadership for the Centre for Gender and
Religions Research. Applicants should be competent in the theoretical
approaches to the study of gender in religion and have a research interest
in at least one of the religions of Africa and Asia. The post commences on
September 1st 2001.
Membership of USS (Universities Superannuation Scheme) will be available.
