Hi,
forgot to answer the second: the only limit I know of is that in avw
files every dimension needs to be less or equal to some number (signed
16 bit maxint I believe, making it < ~32000). This is a limitation for
any of the 4 dims in your avw file. In practice, the maximum 'usable'
size depends on the amount of memory (physical and swap) installed on
your system....
