I guess the appointment of Gale Norton to Interior should give us an idea of
where Dubyah is going.

This really shouldn't surprise anyone, except that Dubyah went such a
strange way on this appointment. Basically Norton is no different from Don
Young or Ben Nighthorse Campbell, the two most mentioned before Dubyah
announce Norton, but she has the benefit of being an unknown on the national
scene. The chances of her appointment being blocked are very slim.
Well, hang on to your hats; it's going to be a bumpy ride.

“Our human ecology is that of a rare species of mammal in a social,
omnivorous niche. Our demography is one of a slow-breeding, large,
intelligent primate. To shatter our population structure, to become abundant
in the way of rodents, not only destroys our ecological relations with the
rest of nature, it sets the stage for our mass insanity.”
