Hi,after calibrated the PDA and CAPWAP tests with static load test, what
parameter we should refer to validate the subsequent PDA tests? Another
words, how do we justify the reliability of PDA and CAPWAP tests from a
static pile load test.
I come across this paper "Dynamic and static load testing of model piles
driven into dense sand" by Bruno & Randolph (1999). The author indicates
that the use of Jc and hammer drop height would affect the ratio of
measured pile capacity to computed one. Can this be served as guideline to
check the reliability of PDA and CAPWAP tests ?
Is the Jc- damping parameter used in matching the signal of wave
transmission similar to the one used in case equation for calculating the
pile resistance ?
have a nice day
