Contemporary Political Theory (CPT) is a significant and distinctive
addition to the top rank of peer-reviewed journals in political
philosophy
and theory.
The central focus of CPT will be on publishing contributions to
contemporary theory, though informed by historical experience with
submissions on past thinkers and thought welcomed where they bear upon
current philosophical and political concerns
CPT will reflect the diversity of the subject by encompassing a very
wide range of approaches including analytical political philosophy,
radical and post-structural political thought, feminist theory,
international relations theory and philosophy of social science.
CPT will be international in scope combining and bringing together both
anglophone and continental European theory.
CPT will will provide a forum for contributions that make connections
across theoretical approaches, that cross disciplinary boundaries and
thatapply theory to practice.
A rigorous process of refereeing will ensure the quality of articles.
Publication Details: ISSN: 1470-8914, Volume 1 will consist of 3 issues
and will be published in 2002. The first issue is scheduled to appear in
March 2002.
