As a parent I think I would expect to be named as a next of kin i.e. if
something untoward happened to my family I think I would like to be informed
(just like the current news item where two women were only informed of their
mother's death 4 days later!!) unless my son/daughter had a wife/husband. I
think this is where the DP Act becomes silly...although if you read the
legislation it could be illegal!!
