Dear All,
Could somone please offer advice on the following:
We currently run a Staff Directory i.e.an enhanced Phone Book on our
internal Intranet.
Someone has requested that it be made available externally via 'Customer Web
Sites'.
These sites would be password protected and the access managed by Ordnance
Survey.
The question is which of the 'Conditions for processing' in Schedule 2 could
be used?
'Consent' certainly, but I would anticipate a low response.
'Legitimate interests' has been suggested by the OIC, but this in turn could
require consent if it was not to prejudice the rights etc of the data
subject.
Additionally I believe that the Eighth Principle would come into play.
Any and all advice would be appreciated.
Many Thanks
Brian Todd
