PhD STUDENTSHIPDivision of Psychology

Applications are invited from graduates in Psychology or related disciplines
for an industry-funded PhD studentship investigating issues of privacy and
personal space in new generation information portals and ATMs. Applicants
should have an upper second or first class degree, a good understanding of
research methodology and an interest in environmental psychology and/or
human-computer interaction.
The studentship will run for three years, subject to successful progress
review and will commence in July 2001. The value of the Research Studentship
payable to the successful applicant is £6455 per annum (under review).
Tuition fees will be paid on the student's behalf. Opportunities for
part-time, hourly-paid lecturing also exist within the Division of
Psychology.
