NOTE
This SGES lecture will be combined on the 21 November 2001 with a
meeting of the British Classification Society in the Department of
Computer Science, Birkbeck College, London from 2-5 p.m., organised
by Professor Boris Mirkin.
The confirmed speakers for the afternoon meeting and the titles of
their talks are: L. Lebart (ENST, Paris) Classification of textual
data, B. Mirkin (Birkbeck College, London) Intelligent K-Means
clustering, A. Gammerman (Royal Holloway, London) Algorithmic
randomness and its application to classification.
This meeting is also open to all and there is no fee. Refreshments
