Apologies for crossposting.
I have had the idea of putting together a page for the BL website with
details of short courses and other events for health librarians/info profs
in the UK. I attach the draft; I'm still working on it and it may be a
couple of weeks before it goes up (the whole BL site is in the final stages
of a relaunch).
I am sending this now as I am keen to gather details of more courses/events
on specific topics relevant to health info (rather than general LIS courses)
anywhere in the UK. Or more expert freelance trainers in health info.
If you know of anything not listed on this draft, can you please send me
details?
Thank you!
I will post the lists again when the page goes up on the BL site.

This page includes meetings, conferences and short courses particularly
relevant to UK health information professionals.
The information was correct when posted, but please contact the training
provider to check details. The listing will not include everything
available. Members of groups for library and health information
professionals <http://www.bl.uk/services/stb/hgroups.html> may find it worth
checking with them too, for details of local or members-only events.
