Apologies for crossposting
Many of you will have heard of OMNI, a subject gateway to quality-checked
web resources in health and medicine at http://omni.ac.uk ?
After *much* discussion, evaluation guidelines have been agreed for
complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) which are now up on the web at
http://biome.ac.uk/guidelines/eval/cam.html (see below). These are in
addition to the usual BIOME guidelines
(http://biome.ac.uk/guidelines/eval/index.html).
If you have any comments on the CAM guidelines, please send them to Alison
Cooke (email [log in to unmask], also on the webpage), and cc to Lisa
([log in to unmask]).
If you know of any CAM sites you think might meet these guidelines which
arent already on OMNI, please let me or Lisa know. (My involvement is that
the British Library has started doing a project to select and add CAM
resources for OMNI -we will be starting on Cochrane abstracts soon.)
Thank you.
