CALL FOR PAPERS
GRREM (the French Research Group on the Relationship between Children and
Media) is co-ordinating a European conference 'Young people and the media:
research, methods and prospects', which will take place between November 29
and December 2 at INJEP (National Institute of Youth and Popular Education)
in Marly-le-Roi near Paris. The conference has the support of the French
National Commission for UNESCO, the French Minisery of Youth and Sports,
the French Ministry of Labour, INJEP and the media education organisation
CLEMI.
Papers are particularly invited on two broad themes:
1. Children and the media: what kind of relationship? what kind of research?
2. Strategies, policies and means: prospects for media education
Proposals for contributions must reach GRREM at the address below by 28 May
2001.
Each proposal must include :
1. the topic (1 or 2 above) to which the proposal refers
2. the title of the proposal
3. the key-words
4. a synopsis of 2000 to 2500 characters (in Times 12 point)
5. biographical détails and a list of your publications
Proposals could be written in French or English and be sent :
