I am a grad student at the University of Alaska, Faribanks.
I am writing my thesis on Russian Old Believer music, and I am having
trouble finding a book or a copy of a book in English.
The title I have seems to be "Azbukha Kryukovad" and the only information
on it I can decipher is "Kiev, 1910, L.F. Kalashnukov'" at the end of the
introduction.
I spoke with an Old Believer priest in Nikoliaevsk who told me there is an
English version somewhere, probably Eire, Pennsylvania, but no one there
seems to even know what book I am referring to. It is a book that teaches
one how to read Old Believer music.
If you know of someone that can help, I would greatly appreciate it. If
not, if this request is worthy of going to the list, that would be fine
too.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
