at the University of Edinburgh.  The first
meeting, at Lancaster in January, was very
successful, and we hope that the next will be
even more so!.  Details are below, and also as an

failed attempt of the British abolitionists to

A reservation will be made for dinner at a nearby
restaurant for those who wish to join us after the
seminar.

For those wishing to stay overnight, accommodation
may be booked in advance at the University
Hospitality Suite via the seminar organisers
(Single stlg20, Double stlg26). For further details
