I assume your post went to Britpo--I filter your posts, but the personal
copy got through. No great loss, as they usually answer themselves.
After the event I imagined that in future antiarcraft guns would bristle
from the top of every skyscraper, but when I thought it through I realized
that in the case of densely occupied cities they would merely deflect the
carnage elsewhere--planes falling on smaller skyscrapers. That's called
thinking about the fallout from one's tactical decisions.
I have no idea if you are a nazi, and I expect that Bush isn't. I was
trying to indicate the disreputable pedigree of a tactic.
I was also proposing that we not go off half-cocked. Which is not a remark
about your manhood. I have no idea about that either.
I wouldn't bring up the 2000 election if I were you--it hardly strengthens
your argument.
For the record, I trust no leader.

He stands with the Self-Doubters. Well, I doubt him, I doubt his good
judgment - obviously he won't fight for his own country, but he benefits
from it. They'd kill him in Kabul if he took such analysis, if he were
still alive at this stage of his life to do it, to them.

Well, many on this list are if he isn't. He wants to argue how many angels
are dancing on the pinhead. Well, I'm not interested in entering into
Therapy sessions at the UN so that Dr. Veiss is TellyTubby happy with the
proof. I trust President Bush.
