Computer vision can be fun and if your a vision scientist you probably
already know this ?
Next wednesday evening (1st Aug) sees the London Premier of Blue Blood
Shot Flowers at 291 Gallery London. The production involves 2 performers
a real performer and a virtual performer called Jeremiah.
Jeremiah is a computer generated Avatar based upon GeoFace which uses a
computer vision system based upon a visual surveillance system to
provide the avatar with sight and a simple emotion engine to allow him
to interact with the real world.
The production involves a short performance followed by an open session
where the audience can interact directly with jeremiah.
The BMVA have kindly agreed to publicise this event as we hope that it
can be used to increase the public understanding and awareness of our
science.
Further details on both the performance, venue and technology can be
found at

Entrance is free and all are welcome.
Look forward to seeing you
