According to Kilgariff's 'Sing us one of the old songs' - a song called WHY
DID YOU MAKE ME CARE was written by Sylvester Maguire & Alfred Solman in
1912, and sung by Manuel Romain (1870-1926). But I can't guarantee it's the
same song.
