I ran across mention of another project on Brereton a few weeks
ago, but kept no record of it. My recollection was that he was
termed the world's worst printer, or words to that effect.
I am certain we will yet hear from John Moulden on this subject, so will
only mention: The Bodleian Ballads website lists 284 broadsides printed
by Brereton (Search on printers/publishers). Some 20 I had seen in
the Library of Congress are now available on the internet (click
on both websites from my website).
