Whilst I am only to glad to see that you can be linked to an Alliance and
Leicester advertisement, I fear I cannot take any of the credit for
fortuitous event.
Also if anyone is interested the Society is involved, with a number of other
bodies including Land Registry the BRA, The Law Society etc, in a Working
Party looking at Title Deeds and what to do with them now that most of the
information required is held electronically. The main thrust is to encourage
owners of deeds to deposit them with their local record offices. The Working
Party is chaired by Mark Stevens at Berkshire record Office, if anyone
wants more details.
