ICT Survey to be issued by Resource.
As part of the development of the Peoples Network project, Resource
maintains Netbase, a UK-wide database of ICT provision in the public
libraries sector.
We are now extending Netbase to encompass museums and archives, with the
aim of being able to provide a fully cross-sectoral picture of ICT in
the UK. Over the next few days, we will be issuing a survey
questionnaire to museums and archives with questions covering a range of
topics including Internet connectivity, funding and hardware.
The questionnaire can be completed either electronically via email, or
on paper. Paper copies of the form will be posted directly to archives
and Registered museums. If you are responsible for ICT in a museum or
archive and would like to receive a copy of the survey questionnaire
electronically, please email me at [log in to unmask] with the
words 'Netbase Survey Form' in the subject line.
If you would like any further information about the survey, please
contact me by email at the address above. We need to get as many
responses as possible in order to produce meaningful results, so many
thanks in advance for your cooperation and participation.
Kind regards,
Nick Poole, ICT Adviser Tel: 020 7273 1410
