Unfortunately, one of our searchers did manage to memorise the details
of another searcher while he was signing in, and later contacted the
lady in question (something to do with an unusual surname I think). She
wasn't exactly upset or angry, but let us know because she thought
others might not be so understanding. I am currently trying to think of
a way round this. As we don't actually issue CARN tickets, we do need
to record the addresses of our searchers. I suspect that a card index
may be the only solution, but in an already cramped office, we are not
keen to add yet another filing system.
And yes I agree that the Counties are definitely way ahead with DP.
