Warwickshire County Council's Libraries, Heritage and Trading Standards
Department is evaluating the viability of handling incoming telephone calls
through a call centre. The County Record Office has been asked to consider
which types of enquiry might be susceptible to being handled this way.
I would be very interested to hear from any other archivists who have
explored this possibility, and would be happy to post a summary of
responses in case others are considering similar service delivery options.
