> One of the fundamental aims of the Public Record Office (PRO)
> is to advise government departments on information management
> and policy issues. This has achieved particular prominence in
> recent months as all government departments and agencies
> prepare to introduce electronic document and records management.

> The PRO is working closely with the Office of e-Envoy to ensure

> Records Management Department is looking for people who
> can contribute to and support activities within the e-records
> programme. These are newly created posts which will provide
> individuals with experience of a fast developing area which is central
