Dear All
Workshops
To support the new Heritage Lottery Fund Your Heritage Scheme the Archive
Lottery Service will be offering some one day workshops, the first of which
will are arranged for
12th July 2001, Public Record Office, London
18th July 2001, National Railway Museum, York
The purpose of these one day workshops is to help participants develop the
core structure of this new project application to the HLF and to offer
practical assistance in framing and presenting your projects in the best
possible light. Remember - this is the beginning of a new funding scheme
and represents a real one off opportunity to be one of the first
applications received by HLF.
The workshop programme covers: Setting the Project Framework, Demonstrating
Need and Demand, Describing the Heritage Focus, Demonstrating Organisational
Ability and Project Management, Budgets and Timetables and Defining
Measurable Aims. At the end of the workshop participants will have tackled
ALL the questions requiring project validation on the application form and
should feel confident about completing it on their own.
The cost per delegate is £25 - this includes administration, sandwich lunch
and refreshments.
Consultations
For those that wish to have some more one to one assistance with their bids
- either earlier on in their project planning or for more tailored practical
support there is also the option of a booking a one to one consultation.
The Archive Lottery Adviser could come to your organisation for the day and
work with you on more specific concerns/needs your organisation has. To
allow for this the structure of this day is more flexible but the areas to
be covered would be agreed in advance. There is a flat fee of £50 for this
- which covers transport costs and is aimed at being the same across the
country so that everyone is paying the same.
For those that wish to follow up a consultation by attending a workshop -
for a limited 3 month period they can do so at a discounted fee of £15 per
delegate.
