Dear colleagues,
Following on the Resource grant of funding for a post of archive development officer, for educational development and for strategic development for archives, libraries and museums, I am pleased to announce the following opportunities.
The attached advert for the post of London Archives Development Officer will appear in the Society of Archivists Careers Opportunities that will be released on 15 May 2001. It will also appear in the Guardian on Wednesday 23 May, as part of a joint advert for a strategic development officer for London Museums, Archives and Libraries (see below) The closing date for applications is 15 June 2001. Interviews will be in the week beginning 25 June 2001.
The second attachment is for consultants to work on a report on the creation of a London Learning Support Unit, and has also been circulated to museums and libraries.
There is also an additional advert is for the post of Strategic Development Officer to work on taking London archives, libraries and museums forward - as part of the Guardian advert as above. As the London Archives Regional Council was also able to share this advert, it duplicates (in part) the London ADO advert.
I do not have an electronic version of this advert to hand at present, but will put it up on the NRA asap.
If anyone has problems in reading the attachments, please contact me off line and I can supply a copy in another format
