SOUTH WEST PUBLIC HEALTH OBSERVATORY
Salary up to £22,299
A statistician is required to join a small team working for
the academic link of the South West Public Health
Observatory which monitors the health of the population.
Responsibilities of the post include developing and linking
national and regional databases and undertaking analyses.
Preferably, you will have a higher degree and some
experience of database management and programming.
Experience of using Stata, MS Access, Excel, and
geographical mapping systems is desirable. Excellent
training and career development opportunities are
available. The post is for two years initially and is
subject to annual review.
