A vacancy exists for a suitably qualified Statistician or Biometrician with a strong commitment to both teaching and research. The Statistics and Biometry section of the School maintains an active role in applied statistics research and has widespread consulting activities.
Minimum requirements:
* For the senior lectureship a relevant PhD degree (in exceptional cases a Masters degree with strong research potential);
* For the professorial position a PhD with a proven research record. In addition, applicants for the full Professorship will have to provide evidence of administrative experience, leadership qualities, wide teaching experience and a good reputation for research in a recognised area of Statistics.
Candidates should clearly indicate the level at which they wish to be considered.
