Research Fellow
We are looking for an enthusiastic researcher to work on a Scottish
Executive-funded project investigating the links between childhood IQ,
social factors and health in adult life. You will be joining a
collaboration between two research teams with successful track records in
epidemiology/public health and psychometrics/human cognitive ageing. This
is an excellent opportunity to analyse established, high quality data sets
and contribute to publications. Applications are welcomed from
psychologists, biological/social scientists, and medical-/bio-statisticians
with higher degrees. Experience with multivariate statistical methods
(especially structural equation modelling) is desirable.
The post is for a fixed term of 1.5 years available from October 2001.
Salary scale: £17 278-£20 066pa
