Hi,
We are part of a European Commission funded project called 'Pragmatic trials
in healthcare systems: an international research and technology development
network to facilitate information for action on priority health problems.'
The project is aimed mainly at developing countries and an aim of the
project is to improve partner countries' health systems by increasing their
capacity to evaluate healthcare delivery systems and to identify options
which are effective. This will involve, among other things, providing
information and tools on the design, running and evaluation of pragmatic
randomised controlled trials (RCTs). One side of this will be a web-based
information service.
Right now we are doing a needs assessment and trying to get an idea of what
resources already exist. I was wondering if list-members had favourite
sites and tools that they use in connection with the design and analysis of
RCTs so that we could include these in our discussions. At present we
envisage our own site being a mixture of links to existing resources,
perhaps with additional explanation where necessary, and new information and
tools where these are required. If good resources are available already, we
do not, of course, want to spend time reinventing the wheel.
Many thanks for any help that you can provide.
