Hi,
I would like to know what is the most efficient algorithm to compute
precisely Mill's ratio for the normal distribution.
I have to compute in a routine terms like (x^n)*exp(0.5*x^2)*(1-F(x)), where
F is the normal pdf. These kind of terms are actually multiplied by other
huge numbers and added or substracted.
Therefore, i need a very precise algorithm. At the same time, i want to use
the minimum possible of terms, since i have to do this kind of computations
lots of times.
Thank you for your help.
JK
