DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH SCIENCES
Research Assistant/Associate required for a study of between-practice
variation in primary care. This MRC funded project will estimate the extent
of between-practice variation for common health conditions, in order to aid
the design and analysis of primary care-based research studies with
clustered data.
Applicants must have a first degree or equivalent in epidemiology,
statistics, mathematics or health related research, and knowledge of data
sources, database management and statistical analysis. A masters degree in
epidemiology or medical statistics and experience of research in primary
health care settings are highly desirable.
Salary on Research Assistant 1A scale, £16,775 - £22,245 plus £2,134 London
